This is the padel racket of Mike Yanguas, professional padel player. Designed for players looking for speed when handling and focused on those looking for power.

Bourne is a model that was born in 2018 from the fusion between the Cañon (diamond shape created in 1995) and the Avant (teardrop shape created in 2009). As a result, we achieved a teardrop-shaped racket, designed for players who seek control in their game without losing power.

This professional-level racket has the PRISMA frame, with which we manage to reduce the contact point of the frame against walls and surfaces by 90%, as well as 10% air resistance. All this means better maneuverability of the racket and greater acceleration capacity on hits.

On the other hand, we have reinforced its most fragile point (the head) with an adhesive bumper that adapts perfectly to its shape, the Prisma bumper. This not only covers the frame, but also its connection with the plane of the racket.

When it comes to applying effects to the hits, it presents a rough texture in the plane called Slice, which has been designed and developed with a series of curved lines that make the ball to stick more.

In addition, to eliminate the influence of temperature on racket’s materials, this model has been manufactured with two types of rubber: a softer one, called "W", recommended to be used at low temperatures or up to 25ºC / 77ºFF; and a harder one, called "S", recommended to be used at temperatures above 25ºC / 77ºF.
For this reason, we recommend to carry both rackets in the bag so that the player uses one model or another, depending on the ambient temperature. For more information about temperatures, click here.

As its name suggests, the Bourne Summum Prisma includes Summum technology in its construction, which is based on the sum of several factors:

- A longer grip than usual to provide the player with a more comfortable and professional grip, and also to make it easier for those who use both hands on backhand shots.

- A 1 cm longer striking surface.

- And the Wings Diffuser technology in the heart, with an aerodynamically improved diffuser, which provides more maneuverability and precision.

And finally, it is worth highlighting the Handlesafety technology, a new safety system for the handle. Normally, in all rackets the rope comes out from a centered hole which is attached to the handle frame by means of a pin, rivets, nails, etc. However, with this system, the rope goes through the two walls of the handle and comes out on both sides of the tip, thus giving 100% safety and comfort to the grip
